Cultural Resources Management

The Cultural Resources Division, which falls under the Kalispel Natural Resources Division (KNRD), is charged with archeological protection as well as preservation of tribal language, history and archives. In collaboration with federal, state and private parties, KNRD seeks to identify historically significant places to assess their cultural and scientific contribution to the Tribe, and then protect these resources for future generations.
